With the **Filiera Punto Zero** project, Molino Bongermino has anticipated this need by adopting innovative and sustainable tools to ensure transparency, safety, and environmental responsibility in every step of the supply chain.

## 🌾 **Blockchain: Grain that Tells the Truth**

In our sector, saying “traceability” is no longer enough. Today we need a system that is **reliable, verifiable, and tamper-proof**.  
**Blockchain** technology allows us to record every stage of the grain’s production cycle in a transparent and permanent way:

- Where the grain was grown
- When it was harvested
- How and where it was stored
- When it was milled
- Which varieties were used

All this information is easily accessible through a **QR code printed on every package**. Consumers can retrace the journey from field to table, backed by **secure and decentralized technology**.

## 🛡 **Blockchain & Digital Product Passport (DPP)**

The **European Union** is introducing the **Digital Product Passport (DPP)** to improve supply chain transparency and promote sustainability.  
Our blockchain-based traceability system **already anticipates many of the DPP requirements**, offering:

- Detailed information on the origin and transformation of the raw material
- Transparency about composition and environmental impact
- Real-time data available via QR code scanning

The DPP will soon be mandatory in various sectors, and we believe it will also become key in the agri-food industry—**promoting trust and consumer awareness**.

Alongside traceability, we’ve introduced **Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP)** to: ✅ Preserve the organoleptic qualities of the semolina  
✅ Avoid the use of chemical preservatives  
✅ Naturally extend the product’s shelf life  
✅ Protect against oxidation, moisture, and external agents

This packaging is especially useful for professionals who need semolina that stays **fresh and stable over time**, without compromising performance.

Our commitment to **environmental sustainability** also extends to packaging choices.  
We use a **100% recyclable certified paper solution**, designed to maintain the quality of the product even after MAP sealing.
